Arctic monkey's Alex Turner goes solo !

Alex Turner the front man of Arctic Monkeys is set to release his first Solo EP. The EP will consist of six tracks to feature on the film " The Submarine" based on the novel from Joe Dunthorne. It is said to be made up of Acoustic guitars, paino, and Alex turners unmistakable vocals to be released on 14th March 2011.

I personally think this is will be a great success for the young musician who already has an army of worshippers. He has a great buzz around him and is very hard to dislike, but could this bring a strain on the foundations of the Arctic Monkeys, will he still give 100% to Arctic Monkeys or to himself

Will the solo venture be a success ? 

Will he play some tracks at V festival?
